Pooch Rivera
Chef Sean “Pooch” Rivera is a New Orleans-born chef, restaurateur, and investor with a rich culinary background across kitchens and restaurants worldwide. His journey began at 14 when his strict father insisted he find a job, leading him into the culinary field.
After high school, he earned a degree in advertising and public relations from Loyola University and spent two decades managing hip-hop artists. The devastation of Hurricane Katrina in 2005 brought him to Baton Rouge, where he sought a new direction.
Pooch has received significant recognition, including being named one of the “Chefs to Watch” by Louisiana Cookin magazine and as one of the Best Chefs of Louisiana. His experience has earned him many awards, and he is passionate about uniting people and food.
Now part of the Walk-In Talk Media family, Pooch serves as a stand-in co-host for the Walk-In Talk Podcast and plays an integral role in marketing and sales efforts with potential partnerships.
